Important advice for all users and Appeal to the "Settings-Guys"
===============================================================

For ToH3.4HoT11.4 the firmware-embedded Satellite Names (see drop-down list
in the Humax-menu "Antenna Setting") have been revised and mostly replaced
by new ones.

For correct display of the new firmware-embedded Satellite Names you
should use the editor HNFSmart2.4fix2 (by Nostromo) and replace the old
file "satnames.ini" in the folder of HNFSmart2.4fix2 (usually in
"C:\Programs\HumaxSmartSuite\HNFSmart") by the new file "satnames.ini"
that comes with current firmware ToH3.4HOT11.4.

You can download the Settings-editor HNFSmart2.4fix2 from:
http://www.humax-zone.net/index.php?page=5400_editors

Unfortunately, there is no common agreement which Antenna-/LNB-numbers
are linked to specific Satellite Names.

If you are going to distribute Settings-files on the internet, We would like
to ask you that from now on you use only firmware-embedded Satellite Names
(not: user-defined Satellite Names) for the Antenna-/LNB-numbers 1 - 17
and that you stick to the following relations:

  Antenna-/LNB-Number	firmware-embedded Satellite Name
  ----------------- --------------------------------
	1 "Astra 1" (19.2 East)

	2 "Hotbird" (13 East)

	3 "Sirius" (4.8 East)

	4 "Eutelsat W3A" (7 East)

	5 "Eurobird 9" (9 East)

	6 "EB & ES - 16E" (= Eurobird 16A & Eutelsat Sesat
					& Eutelsat W2M on 16 East)

	7 "Astra 3A, 1E, 1G" (23.5 East)

	8 "Badr" (26 East)

	9 "Astra 2 & Eurob.1" (Astra 2 on 28.2 East
					& Eurobird 1 on 28.5 East)

	10 "Hellas Sat" (39 East)

	11 "Turksat" (42 East)

	12 "Thor & IS10-02" (= Thor on 0.8 West
					& Intelsat10-02 on 1 West)

	13 "Amos" (4 West)

	14 "Atlantic Bird 3" (5 West)

	15 "Nilesat & AB4" (= Nilesat & Atlantic Bird 4
					on 7 West)
	16 "Atlantic Bird 2" (8 West)

	17 "Hispasat" (30 West)

(Antenna-/LNB-numbers 18 - 32, in contrast, may still be used freely.)

Use HNFSmart2.4fix2 to adapt existing Settings-files in two steps:
(the "satnames.ini"-file of HNFSmart2.4fix2 must have been replaced
by the new one of the ToH3.4Hot11.4-package)

1.
Those user-defined Satellite Names to which an equivalent (!)
firmware-embedded Satellite Names is available, should be replaced:
Click on the "Antenna"-Tab and check all 32 LNBs which type
of Satellite Name is actually in use, and change the type of name, if
        necessary;
Do not change those user-defined Satellite Names to which no equivalent
  firmware-embedded Satellite Name is availabe (e. g. "Telstar 12").

2.
The Tool "Sort LNB" ((HNFSmart2.4fix2 --> Tools --> Sort LNB) allows
changing the relations between LNB-/Antenna-/LNB-numbers and
  Satellite Names easily.
