Humax*it Tools.

The Humax*it Tools are multiplatform applications and need
ActiveTCL to run on your platform.

The Humax*it tools contains 3 packages.

HumaxKEYdit is a Keyeditor for the Humax 5400 series.
HumaxSETit is a settings editor for the Humax 5400 series.  
HumaxTOOLit is a Firmware manupulator for the Humax 5400 series.
    HumaxToolit includes a PMC editor, a Macro table editor and a
    Humax 5400 Menu Color editor.  
    
HumaxLOADit, HumaxPMCit and HumaxMACRit are not maintained
anymore. These tools are integrated in HumaxTOOLit now.

ActiveTcl 8.5 Installation.

After you unpack the Humax*it tool(s) go into the installation
directory.
If this is the first time you using one of the Humax*it tools
ActiveTcl is likely not installed on your platform.
To install ActiveTcl you need a working Internet connection.
    
Open a console i.e xterm and browse to the installation directory.
Execute "Install-ActiveTcl-linux.sh" witch is located in the 
installation directory.
To end this procedure may take a wile.
Use the default installtion directory as the Installation
directory for ActiveTcl 8.5. (/opt/ActiveTcl-8.5)
For updating ActiveTcl packages you need root previleges.
"Install-ActiveTcl-linux.sh" is using "sudo" for install and 
updating. If you not in the "sudo" list install and Update will
fail.
In this case you should choose an ActiveTcl install directory in
your "Home" directory
After "Install-ActiveTcl-linux.sh" is completed ActiveTcl should
be installed on your system.
You can now start the Humax*it tool by clicking on the humax*it
link.

The Humax*it tool will now start a configuration procedure.
It is wise to have the Humax 5400 turned on and connected to a serial
port.
When the Configuration is finished the Humax*it tool will start up.
Use the Help button on the Menu bar to get help.
